Proficium Launches 400G QSFP-DD Universal Transceiver Supporting Both Single Mode and Multi-Mode Applications

It supports both single mode and multi-mode applications through a single duplex LC connector. Designed to bring maximum flexibility to short haul data center and enterprise environments, the 400G QDD Universal offers seamless support for existing multimode fiber installations while also enabling single mode operation up to 1 km, all without increasing power consumption. This allows organizations to future proof infrastructure investments without requiring a redesign of existing cabling. This groundbreaking product is now available and shipping worldwide.
